Laurie and Ellen arrived on Friday evening. We had a nice dinner of Beijing Duck. We spent much of the day with team members. Angel Meng (responsible for about 90% of the translation for Phase III) conducted a interpreter orientation Saturday morning and then joined Laurie, Ellen, and me for dinner at a Chinese Muslim restaurant.

It is Sunday morning here. In about 3 hours Laurie, Ellen, Helen Fu (Project Coordinator) and Shelly (interpreter) will fly down to Chengdu and then take the train to Mianyang.
